I was wondering why Needleman got into the race. Was it someone within the party that suggested it, some high-muckety-muck, or was it his own decision to try to get rid of the best thing to happen to Brevard County since the space program: Scott Ellis? (This is a paid political adv. etc...... hehehe)

I don't know why Needleman got in, but I can't see him as being qualified unless he's qualified in the same way Maureen Rupe is qualified: they want the jobs. Well, at least Needleman has had a previous job, which I cannot say for the never-been-employed Rupe, but that still doesn't make Needleman the right man for the job. He's been a legislator -- not necessarily the best job qualification for someone who has to try to save taxpayer dollars. (Actually, it seems like a conflict of interest to me.) Needleman being in the race just means that those of us who support Scott have to work harder to make sure he gets reelected. We can do that.
