Last week my granddaughter called me crying as she had been onto your website and read your vicious attacks on my character. Now you are affecting my family with your twisted logic and lies. You are dedicated and obsessed with keeping me out of office. It is your right to do so, but Freedom of Speech does not cover malicous defamation of character.

In 15 years, I have never answered your false claims, as you are one of the most unreasonable, irrational people I have ever met. If I lose the primary, I will immediately file a lawsuit. I would file now but my attorney, which stated he has never seen a smear campaign as bad as your website, advises me that if I lose the election there will be sufficient evidence for much more in damages. Your hatred of me is disturbing and abnormal and my family and friends have been concerned for my safety.

My tolerance is at an end and you don't realize just how many false claims Costello and youself have made on your websites. You have both maliciously damaged my name in the community.

Shock. Surprise. She has done it again. She has threatened to sue me. Wow. Like I wasn't expecting that. She has done so FIVE TIMES NOW. Shall I comment on this or shall I just let it go? Hmmmmm… Of course, I am me and I shall comment on it. Didn't you know that, Moron… I mean Maureen.

First paragraph: I'm sorry if your granddaughter was really upset about all the truths I tell about you. If they don't like me telling the truth, then maybe you should have warned her to not get on my site. And if you have done so, then it's not my doing that she got upset. Also, I don't believe that assertion for a heartbeat. What grandmother waits a whole week before defending her granddaughter? The fact is that I put up my Ethics Complaint page and less than twelve hours later, you contact me with your little hissy fit law suit threat. Now that I believe. My “twisted logic and lies”? My logic is not twisted and the truths are not lies. I back up all my assertions with your own words in writing or on tape (I kept all those tapes). I have your words in print, on public record, with witnesses and all you can say, again and again and again, is “I'm going to sue you.” The truth is the truth is the truth, Maureen. YOU SAID THESE THINGS. IF you didn't want to be called on them all these years later, why did you say them in the first place? IF you can't stand having a mirror held up to you, then why not change so that the reflection changes? It is the truth that I am telling. I do not have to lie to make you look bad. The truth is all I have revealed. My assertions are backed up with links to your own words. The fact that I have so many of them just means that you talk a lot. And, yes, I am dedicated to keeping you out of office. Just as I am dedicated to seeing the right thing done. You are the wrong thing for Brevard County and I am allowed to speak up and say so. Do you think that, just because someone cried that I should be shut up? Just because someone is upset that the right thing shouldn't be done? IF that be the case, then the King of England would never have lost America because we would have been too concerned about the King's feelings. And, I am not malicious. I don't attack your family; even your e-mail said that I had said all those bad things about YOU. I have stayed away from your family until today with the public record Ethics Complaint filing page and today you sent me the “I'm going to sue you” threat. Do you see a correlation there?

Second paragraph: “In 15 years, I have never answered your false claims…” I haven't been your “enemy” for fifteen years and I haven't made any false claims. I started disagreeing with you during the PSJHOA Board meetings, yes, but we were still on a pretty friendly basis back then. It wasn't until six years ago, with the PSJ incorporation battle that I started strongly disagreeing with you. You know that as well as I, so stop exaggerating. I wasn't “unreasonable and irrational” when you gave me that real fur koala bear and we went and ran errands together, now was I? Or when we worked together on PSJHOA things all those years ago. Now isn't that the truth? And, now we get to the crux of the matter: If I lose the primary, I will immediately file a lawsuit. That's the whole point, isn't it, Maureen? That's what this is all about. You see it slipping away and you think I had something to do with it so you must find an excuse for the sceptre not being passed to its rightful owner: Maureen Rupe. The one who worked so hard all these years doing her daily “volunteer hours” in supposed preparation for her rightful ascention to the throne: D1 County Commissioner. That's the whole point of all of this. You have to find an excuse for you not winning. Ever consider the possibility that it is the words you have said, all those city council meetings and BOCC meetings and other meetings and all those issues you have spoken on that have earned you the loss? Of course you haven't. Time served in your mind is rightful ascention. During the incorporation battle it was the same way: all those hours means it should have happened. The problem is that people have a choice. They have the right to listen to whom they want. They don't have to come to my website and read it and learn the truth from it. But they do. They see the research I've put into finding your own words and finding the truth and linking to them and proving what you have said. The people aren't voting for me if you lose; they are voting against you. They are voting against what you stand for, believe in, push for, speak for, dedicate hours and hours and hours to. It is not my doing if you lose: it is your own. That is what the pity is: you cannot even grasp the concept that you are the one who is losing; I am not making you lose. As a County Commission candidate, you should be able to take the truths, the opinions and the otherwise of the public if you are going to be dealing with them and their opinions, views and beliefs. If your e-mail is any indication of how you deal with the fact that others comment on your own words, then what kind of Commissioner would you be? A very litigious one, I would guess. Is that what you want for D1? You want the ability to ascend the throne — unquestioned and unchallenged — and to sue whomever comments on your own words or tries to stop the ascention? Now that's what I want in a D1 Commissioner!

The third paragraph: Costello and myself? Pete Costello's site is as tame as a kitten. You see, this is where you blew your assertion to righteousness. If Maureen Rupe Exposed has “many false claims” against you, then you haven't seen his site. You are apparently unaware that his site is very small, his site is very bulleted and doesn't do much at all in the way of commentary. So, this proves to me that you are full of hot air and that you are faking it. You've goofed up again, Moron Dupe. And it is a fact. Your own words bite you in the bumm (a little Britishism there to make you feel at home). As to your name in the community, you damaged that when you tried to forcibly incorporate the Four Communities without telling them about it. You damaged that when you went to Titusville and spoke against the citizens there. You damaged that when you supported the Mim/Scottsmoor incorporation push. You damaged that when you told the people of PSJ that Titusville was going to force us onto their sewers and make us pay for their new facilities and/or annex us without a vote. You damaged that when you supported all those EELs purchases. You damaged your reputation, Maureen Rupe, NOT I! Now that your chickens are coming home to roost you have to have someone else to blame for it. Well, blame away because if it keeps you out of the D1 County Commission seat, then I'll gladly take the blame. As to your assertion that, “my family and friends have been concerned for my safety”, okay. Why? Show me one thing I have done to make you afraid. One thing. If you were afraid of me, shouldn't I have been served with a restraining order by now? IF your family and friends are so scared that I'm going to do something bad to you, shouldn't they be guarding you right now? If they are so scared that I am a physical threat to you, shouldn't you be out of the country somewhere (hmm… now THERE'S AN IDEA!)? Liar.

I think the people of D1 should know about this and that is why I am posting it and publishing this elsewhere. You have shown your true colors again, and they will come back to haunt you!
